Meaty and lustrous nose, showing very impressive depth and width of complexity. Grilled herbs, cured meat, lard and peppercorn, as well as some graphite, violets and ripe black and blue fruit. Impressively concentrated, but full of fruit, with plenty of creamy, nicely chewy tannins. There is no shortage of freshness either. Better after 2025.
