This has a gorgeous nose of pie crust, biscuit, dried apple, hazelnut and citrus rind. Very fine and creamy with sharp acidity. I like the biscuity character. Persistent. Wonderful complexity, elegance and finesse. 65% chardonnay from Avize and Cramant, plus 35% pinot noir from Ay. Drink or hold.

This wine is proof that dry Champagnes age so well. It is complex, full of impressive white fruits that are still fragrant and fresh enough to shine against the almond and toast flavors. The wine is fully balanced now.
