Always one of my favorite whites out there, the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is equal parts Grenache Blanc and Roussanne brought up in 50% new French oak, with the balance in tank. Its vivid gold hue is followed by a gorgeous bouquet of white peach, toasted bread, white flowers, honeysuckle, and lemon oil. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, and wonderfully textured on the palate, with juicy acidity and a great finish. It's going to shine on the dinner table and should evolve for 3-5 years, although I see no need to delay gratification.
