A scented but serious malbec with plenty of blueberries, herbs and a fine touch of cocoa powder. A hint of white pepper and cigar box. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate with supple, round tannins and a juicy, long finish. Complex, but still shows impressive drinkability. Enjoy now or hold.

The 2021 Malbec Signature hails from an old vineyard planted in 1907 in La Consulta, Uco Valley. A rich purple color. The nose features fruity, floral plum, sour cherry, violet and fine herb aromas. The palate is indulgent and faintly liqueur-like. Plush tannins and well-calibrated acidity establish a creamy, velvety texture. The 2021 will develop further in the bottle.
