Anyone who’s nostalgic for the deep earthiness of great red Burgundy from 20 and more years ago should check this beauty out. The touch of bitter chocolate is also spot-on. Concentrated and compact on the medium- to full-bodied palate, but still youthful and tightly wound. This has a terrific interplay of ripe raspberry fruit and compact fine tannins. So clean in the very long finish. Very limited production. Drink or hold.
