From 25-year-old vines on calcareous clay soils with blue silex elements in Le Puy-Notre-Dame and aged sur lattes for 24 months, the NV Crémant de Loire opens with a pure, very delicate and subtle fruity bouquet that already promises remarkable brightness, finesse and terroir character. Round and mouth-filling yet straight, pure, firm and salty, this is an intense, elegant and textural crémant with a remarkably complex and structured finish. This is an excellent sparkling wine to have as an aperitif but also with food. Impressive. Disgorged as brut. 12.5% alcohol. Tasted in April 2021.
