The 2020 Volnay Ronceret ler Cru takes some time to coalesce in the glass, though it demonstates a little more precision than the Robardelle, the fruit slightly darker and less confit. The palate is Amedium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, quite harmonious with a luxuriant but focused cassis-tinged finish. This should age well in bottle. Just one barrel produced.
