The 2020 Monthélie Les Clous ler Cru has a fresh and vibrant bouquet, taut and fresh, perhaps its brightness enhance by lower alcohol compared to Bouley's other cuvées, this standing at around 13.5°. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, taut, rather edgy tannins. Quite compact and stubbornly linear on the finish, this will require 3-4 years in bottle to gain more horizontality.
