The nose has a perfumed yet crisp feel, from aromas of citrus zest, peonies, bing cherries and salted licorice. On the palate, the fruit ripens but stays snappy, while a dusting of salt and pepper adds buoyancy that contrasts with tannins that embrace you like a weighted blanket
