Some very vibrant and expressive, fresh raspberries on offer. Some bracken, too. The palate has really crunchy texture with fine, crisp tannins and a succulent, tart-raspberry and red-cherry finish. 25% whole bunch. Drink or hold.
Artful confluence of whole berry (75%) and whole bunch (25%) fermented Grenache from 50-year-old and 80-year-old Blewitt Springs bush vines on sandy soil. Mostly free run ‘juice’ spent nine months in old French oak puncheons and foudre prior to blending; bottled unfined and unfiltered. Vivid red cherry, strawberry, dried cranberry and creamier blueberry fruit with a lively pick of tannin, dried herbs and five spice. Tapered but lingering, fresh finish.
