Amazing store - fabulous prices - tailored recommendations.
This is the perfect wine store to get unique and outstanding recommendations for very low prices. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and I completely trust them to choose the perfect wine for whatever occasion I'm looking for. They never never try to upsell me (and conversely sometimes tell me, 'wait until the next vintage' or 'honestly this is the better bargain for the same value'). You won't get the standard brands/prices here-- you'll get something better (and if you don't know what you're looking for, just ask!). I can't recommend Empire State of Wine enough!

This is hands-down one of the best wines stores in the city. The owners do an exceptional job of curating the wine selection, especially the affordable bottles. You will find countless gems that don't break your budget and the staff is friendly, approachable, and so knowledgeable! It's my go-to every week.
